The business became more organized, more destination-driven. The hotel developed, but also moved a step away from the personal that had once been its core. With Marilyn Bellman came a new ambition, a focus on experience, aesthetics and feeling. The hotel became a place to travel to, to experience, to plan for. Then Mr French Gruppen took over and introduced a more contemporary and polished expression.
